Eves Weekly'. She completed her graduation and came
to Mumbai, modeled for a friend’s store and from
then on the phone calls kept coming for modeling
assignments.
The lady with the never- ending legs, Deepti today has
been in the glamour industry for quite a while. Deepti
believes in being independent and taking the world head
on. After modeling, the natural follow on was films and
she managed to do a fair amount of them (over thirteen)
in a brief span of time. Her first break in films was a
result of the Siyaram Ad (her favourite ad
because it gave her immense popularity, and she holds it
very close to her heart.), which Jackie Shroff saw and
recommended to the makers of the film- Raam Shastra
was offered to Deepti who needed the cash because she
wanted to buy a flat in Mumbai.
After
the brief stay in Bollywood the drop dead gorgeous
actress turned to television and today she is a
successful producer.
