Few
actress have a dream debut in Hindi films as
Bhoomika Chawla. Her first film Tere Naam opposite
Salman Khan turned out to be a smash hit and
immediately established her a sought after heroine
in Bollywood.
This 20-year-old artiste started her career in south
Indian films where she has tasted both success and
failure. Despite the many failures she has faced,
Bhoomika says, "I can`t forget that it is the Telugu
film industry that has given me fame and success." "When I was young," Bhoomika
continues, "I always felt I should be famous." And she has
already become a household name.
Though
she hails from Delhi, Bhoomika made her acting debut in
2000 down south with a Telugu film Yuvakudu which was a
big hit. Her next film Khushi in Telugu was even a
bigger hit which was later remade in Hindi and Kareena
Kapoor acted in the film.
Bhoomika
has worked in films like Run, Autograph, Silsilay, Dilne
Jisse Apna Kaha among others. Her forthcoming films
include Benaam with Aneez Bazmi and Gandhi My Father, a
film that has been produced by Anil Kapoor.
