 Harbhajan
Shera was born on 15th March 1973 at Delhi but
he has been brought up in Ludhiana.
Music flows in his veins as his father was
himself a singer. He unearthed the hidden
talent in Harbhajan at early age of 10 and
encouraged him to take up music. Subsequently
Harbhajan took formal training in classical
and semi classical singing from Guru Shri
Harpal Snehi of Karar.
Harbhajan did his schooling from Central
school Chandigarh and right from very first
day his music teacher acknowledged the singing
talent in him. Soon Harbhajan was
participating at regional and national level
school competitions. By age of 15 Harbhajan
was performing all over Punjab.
Harbhajan released his first album Yaad
Chandriye that was released in 1994. The album
was a success. His next album Tere Barabar
Nachna on Tips Music further cemented his
position in Punjabi pop music scene. Since
then Harbhajan has released a handful of hit
albums.
