She is a lady of myriad talents. A promising actress, an active theater artiste and a singer, Rajeshwari Sachdev is akin to a multi-faceted pearl.

At a very tender age her father initiated her into theater where Rajeshwari inculcated many a trait hobnobbing with eminent theater personalities. Right after high school she got the offer to work in Shyam Benegal's Suraj Ka Satwan Ghoda which she gladly accepted.

Since then there has been no looking back for Rajeshwari who has been seen more in offbeat films like Tunnu Ki Tina and Sardari Begum rather than mainstream masala films simply because she does not want to be a part of the Bollywood's bump-grind routine.

For a girl of her age who has had no training in singing having two albums under her wing is certainly a remarkable feat. Her first album Hulle Hullare was a big hit. Her second album Mukhda Piya Ka offers a mix of romantic ballads and foot tapping music.
