Sanjeevani
is the bubbly, versatile singer, who has come a long
way since SAREGAMA. It was at that time in 1995,
when she had participated in SAREGAMA and was
spotted by renowned Director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra,
who gave her the first break in his movie "Kareeb".
Having studied music from the tender age of 10 years
under various gurus of classical music such as Pandit
Dinkar Kaikini, she completed her Sangeet Visharad
(Graduation in Hindustani Classical music), and
simultaneously did her Masters in Commerce (M.Com).
Her multi-faceted personality had got her a long way
and she has performed in various events across the
world, and won accolades for her spontaneity and
efferverscent singing. Some of the Hindi movies to her
credit are "Kareeb", "Kya Dil Ne Kaha",
"Road", "Rules-Pyaar ka superhit
formula", "Socha Na Tha".
The awards that were bestowed on her-"Best
playback singer Aashirwad award" for "Chori
Chori Jab Nazarein Mili" (Kareeb)-1998, "Best
playback singer" for "man moti ne naach"
-Soi Entertainment (Gujarat) 1999. She has also
channeled her way in Nepali and Telugu films.
