 Deepal Shaw more popularly known as Baby Doll is the
queen of remix dance numbers. She burst into the music
scene with the remix of Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar and is now
poised for an interesting career in Hindi films.
Born
and raised in Mumbai, Deepal's family roots are in Uttar
Pradesh. She attended St.
Xavier's College, where she pursued a BA
in Psychology.
Deepal began her career as
a model, taking part in the 2004
Miss India beauty pageant. She advanced to the
final round before getting eliminated. But it as an
item number girl that Deepal tasted success. She
featured in a remix album titled Baby Doll and
followed it up with Baby Doll Chapter 2 that
featured the hit song Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar which
brought her immense recognization.
With the film Kalyug Deepal
made her acting debut. She will soon be seen in
Hollywood film Karma, Confessions & Holi.
