 Satish Shah bubbled the comedy soaps on television
with "Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi" on Doordarshan in the
early 1980s. Since them he has been one of the most
consistent faces in Indian comedy.
Over
the years Satish Shah has gradually moved on to
acting on big screen. But that does not mean he has
stopped acting in television. One of his very recent
projects has been Sarabhai VS Sarabhai.
Some
of his memorable films have been Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron,
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mahin Hoon Na among
others.
Satish
Shah unlike other actors who want to graduate to
different roles is happy playing a comedian. "The audience loves
me for the image I have and as long as they accept
me I don’t see the need for a change of image. I
love making people laugh."
