 A six piece band, Achanak have gained a
fearsome reputation as the best 'Live Bhangra'
act in the Music market. Their latest
album Bhangra-ology is creating
waves all over and two of the Bhangra
tracks from the album have been picked
up to feature in the very popular
video game Gotham 3. Achanak
have consistently achieved
platinum sales for all their albums
and are recipients of numerous awards
including best band (2003) best live
act (2002) and best album ( 1997). Born in the autumn of 1989, Achanak has toured extensively covering all
ends of the market including: Sweden, Italy,
Germany, Slovenia, Spain, France, Norway,
Czech Republic as well as Japan, Malaysia,
Singapore, the States and Indonesia. |
