Talat Abdul Azeez Khan better known as Talat Aziz has
mesmerized people all over the world with his soft,
soothing and melodious voice. He is considered one of
India'd foremost ghazal singers today.
An
admirer of Mehdi Hassan, Talat Aziz moved to Mumbai in
1979 on ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh's suggestion. With
his help Aziz released his first album the same year
titled Jagjit Singh presents Talat Aziz.
Besides
singing ghazals Talat Aziz's voice has also been used as
playback in films like Umrao Jaan, Daddy and Bazaar. A
composer, actor and singer, Talat Aziz composes music
regularly for television serials.
Some
of his hit albums include Lehren, Ehsaas, Tasavvur,
suroor, Saughaat, Manzil, Ishaad among others.
